Queen of the castle. Invest in our rituals by celebrating Broughton’s Queen of Hearts (fundraiser, pageant, court, performances, and dance), one of our oldest traditions. First named in 1942, the role of the Queen of Hearts evolved from the Queen of the Broughton Carnival, which dates back (at least) to 1933.
